Jayraj Lutchmun
Mr Jayraj Lutchmun is the Founder and Managing Director of Le Determinant. Jay is a Mechanical Engineer who has re-invented himself and taken the plunge in the corporate, tax and structuring world about 12 years ago.
With an executive MBA from HEC Paris. Jay has carved his way through different senior positions in top companies such as APAVE Nigeria and Africa GISMIC. Jay has an extensive knowledge and experience of the African market having worked in West Africa for the last 10 years and has a wide and solid network in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He also has a strong business development and financial acumen having firmly established and developed new business lines and country sales strategy for the companies that he has worked for in a relatively challenging environment such as Nigeria.
In his position as Country head at Africa Gismic he actively participated in managing projects from Nigeria to South Korea, UAE, Europe and US. He is currently involved in several interesting projects in Nigeria and believes that there is a need for a high number of investors to structure their respective projects through a reputable and stable jurisdiction. Jay has identified the UAE as being the right jurisdiction and the right platform to establish their business.
Le Determinant has been created to fulfill this need and Jay and his team are there to ensure that investors receive personalized professional advice with respect to structuring in the UAE whilst taking into consideration certain crucial and key elements when taking decisions such as where to establish a base, the tax implications, the people’s factor, etc.
